March 2010 Horticulture Meeting

The Horticulture group met on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 and Herz Koning introduced our guest speaker Ms. Lori Vinikoor,
President of the Palm Beach Chapter of the Rare Fruit Council.

Lori, who also writes a monthly column "The Tropical Kitchen Corner" for the Rare Fruit Council, talked to us about Spices through the Ages, including their various uses in the past for magic rituals to present day uses in beauty products and health spas.

She provided an informative presentation to club members as well as guests.
