Dorothy Trickey taught the floral design class on April 13, 2010 and the topic was spatial thrust design.  Dorothy explained to us that it is a creative design where two parallel lines of like materials are used to define a volume of vacant space which creates a feeling of thrust.  Dorothy showed us several types of containers and materials that could be used for the designs.  She also provided us with a demonstration on how to create one.
